Following a jury trial in the circuit court of Sangamon County, defendant, Steve Redman, was convicted of rape in violation of section 12-13 of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill. Rev. Stat., 1984 Supp., ch. 38, par. 12-13) and home invasion in violation of section 12-11 of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 38, par. 12-11). Defendant was sentenced to 22 years of imprisonment. Defendant appeals. We now affirm. Defendant was charged by information with the rape of the complainant and the home invasion of complainant's home.
